When we make the offer of a room to you and you accept and confirm your booking, we always ask for your credit card details to secure the booking - much like any other holiday, flight or tour company.
We do not debit your card in any way, but in passing over your card details you are making a legally binding contract with us.
We have a standard 1 night stay cancellation policy from the time of booking. If you cancel within 1 week of booking date you will be charged the full amount of your stay. Thus if you cancel your booking within this time for whatever reason – including family illness/bad weather/petrol strikes/car broken down etc we have the right to make a full charge for all our losses, in your absence, to your card.
We will debit your card in your absence for the full amount less the 3% credit card fee to cover the cost of laundry that has not been used by you.
We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance just in case.
